Students and Parents,
Welcome to the 2019- 2020 class web page for Grade 5/6! Here you will find important information and updates, ideas and links for ways to best support learning at home. Information will be posted on SchoolMessenger & Twitter, which is linked to this site, so bookmark our class site and be sure to check in on a regular basis.
If at any point during the school year you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here at school. Student agendas are checked first thing every morning, so leaving a note there is the best way to get in touch. Alternately, you can leave a message on our voicemail. *Please note that voicemails left after 7:45 a.m. will not be accessed until the following morning.* For time sensitive issues, please call through to the office and speak to one of our office coordinators.
We look forward to working with you and your child this year!

The agenda is signed daily by the teacher.
Please check and sign your child’s agenda daily.
Each child will receive an agenda that will be used to model time management, record homework, and communicate between home and school. Look for agenda stickers from the office for upcoming school event. You should be encouraging your child to show you these messages independently. We will rely on your child to show us any messages coming from home in the agenda, so please ensure your child knows if one has been written.
Twitter will be used to connect with other schools and organizations around the world, as well as give others a look inside our classroom. Please see the attached permission form regarding sharing online: here
